NBU Structural Manhole Lining Demonstration
With sales support from The Barry Group, Epoxytec partnered with Droptine in New Braunfels, Texas, to conduct a demonstration for New Braunfels Utilities (NBU).The project featured the application of Epoxytec’s CPP Sprayliner MH on a concrete precast manhole.
Following abrasive blasting surface preparation, approximately 10 gallons of material were spray-applied to create a monolithic, acid-resistant lining.
This demo went very smooth and quick—NBU and Droptine were impressed with the speed and ease of application demonstrated by Epoxytec’s spray-applied system.
Weeks after completion, NBU conducted a vacuum test on the rehabilitated manhole to confirm watertightness. The structure successfully held -10 psi for the full 90 seconds with no drop in pressure, meeting the test criteria and verifying the integrity of the applied liner.
