Epoxytec BUSINESS HISTORY

Since 1973 our core business has been involved in epoxies, urethanes, and related products. Combined with quality products and expert service, our company is positioned to take a competitive market position in the related field.

Epoxytec, Inc. was born from Micor Services in 1990 after having its business name changed. The reason for the name change from Micor Services to Epoxytec, Inc. was to provide the market an upfront definition of what we do right in our title. Therefore, our combined experience is reaching 30 years. To commemorate Micor Services, Epoxytec, Inc. still decided on occasion to use the name "Micor" within our product's names.

Epoxytec's services and products have helped industries solve problems related to deterioration of their structures, machinery, and equipment.

Our services include inspection of job sites, providing solutions by prescribing the proper products and application techniques, assisting engineers in designing a system proper for a particular situation, and assisting clients during the application of the products - by inspecting the surface preparation, mixing of the products, the application, and the atmospheric conditions.

Joseph Caputi Chairman of the Board Since 1973, Joseph Caputi, Founder of Epoxytec, has been involved with epoxies, urethanes, and related services. All of his knowledge in the industry comes from everyday, real life field experiences. Joe Caputi introduced cold weld applications in the N.E. and S.E. with epoxies for metallic rehabilitation working closely with major companies like FPL.

Dr. Elena Ubals, M.D. Executive of the Board Dr. Ubals, whom of which is a partner of Epoxytec, consults with Epoxytec�s Board regarding product development and emerging markets.

Michael Caputi President Michael Caputi is responsible for the overall executive roles of Epoxytec and oversees the company�s sales and customer services. Michael seeks to expand Epoxytec�s services, technologies, and product line to serve clients with the industry�s best solutions. Nicholas Stroud Senior Vice President Nick Stroud, oversees all Operations of Epoxytec and consults with the Board on Strategic Development. Mr. Stroud frequently assists with Sales & Marketing, and Epoxytec�s strategic alliances and partners.

Demetri Rapanos Vice President SBD Demetri Rapanos is responsible for the strategic development of new business. This includes customer sales and service as well as marketing and promotions.

Eric Franco-Velez Lead Field Technician Eric joins the Epoxytec team to bring in-house knowledge and know-how to the field in order to successfully train applicators.

Al Varon General Manager Mr. Varon manages Epoxytec�s day-to-day operations and is the bridge between global sales and operations.
